Unsigned ELLEN CLAPSADDLE Patriotic Postcard.

On the front is a colorful lithographic illustration of a portrait of George Washington.

The art work could very well be that of Ellen Clapsaddle, for it epitomizes her style.

Printed in pre-WWI Germany, and published by the International Art Publishing Co. (one of Clapsaddle\'s favorite publishers), this beautifully embossed postcard not has been postally used and has handwriting on its divided back.

CONDITION: Expected light soiling and corner blunting. A small bit of surface and edge wear. No creases, stains or rips. Clear image. Wonderful artistry. Very nice condition for this very old antique.
