German Imperial World War I Army Field Gas Mask Olive Green Steel Canister. The dimensions are 6 1/2\" in length and 4 1/2\" in width. This canister is of a steel and olive green and black paint construction.It features a cylindrical canister with three loops attached for the carrying straps with a functional lid and operating lid closure. The inside is painted gloss black, the filter compartment is present and functional. The name of the soldier is hand pained in black on the lid it says \"Reimitz\". This gas mask canister is in excellent original condition showing signs of use but not abuse.
