100% originalwith old overpaint this late WWI steel Kochgeschirr was made in 1917 /1918 by maker, WUPPERMAN. The lid and bottom both have the samemaker and kit has likely always been together as a set. Blue enamel inside both top and bottom. Nice, honestoutside wear from the Great War! Has small shelf inside bottom to rest the spoon/fork combo (not included). Some dents on top and battle scars throughout. Matching Maker WW1 German mess kits are notoften encountered. A hard to findMess Kit that will make an excellentaddition to a collection.
