Fantastic, rare and very unusual set with a hand carved Dog (Scottie) with glass eyes and tongue. The reason I think these are German is because of the way SALZ (salt) and PFEFFER (pepper) are spelled on the shakers. They are wooden too and the tops come off for filling. Some age crazing but no chips or cracks, just nice vintage condition. No maker marks.
