You\'re looking at a 1990s Gibson SG-X in a rare color for this model. This is part of the \"Summer Beach Series\" that was produced only two years (1998-99). I have bought and sold many SG-X guitars and after six years of searching, I\'ve only come across a few. These are ridiculously hard to find so grab it fast. Otherwise it could be a while before you see the next one. This particular SG-X is in very nice condition, about 8.5/10 condition. Cosmetically, the finish looks good. I\'ve pictured a few small marks it has. Neck, frets and ebony fretboard are all clean. And a ding on the back of the neck where Gibsons often get stress/dings - see photo = not affecting play or tone in any way!

The guitar is completely stock. All electronics are solid and quiet.Frets are in good shape with lots of life. The pickup switch splits the coils on the humbucker so you can get a fat sound or single-coil sound from the amazing 500T pickup. Two octave 24-fret neck = lots or real estate to stretch out your playing = so go for it!

from online:

If you don’t know much about SG-Xs, these are great guitars with 24-fret, two-octave necks. Because of the neck radius, you can get extremely low action on an SG-X. You can’t beat its 500T pickup for screaming distortion (It made me a believer after having been a Duncan JB user for years.), and the coil split gives it a single-coil sound for mellower stuff.

Just a bit more on the SG-X colors. They were only made 1998-99, and the “Limited Edition Summer Beach Series” colors they came in were: Corona Yellow, Caribbean Blue, Coral (pink), Army Green, Chocolate Brown and Rust (orange). You can also find them in black and cherry (not Summer Beach colors), but most of those were called SG-1s and didn’t have the pickguard.

Check em out. They are a great value compared to some of the new faded junk Gibson is passing off these days! see my website for more cool guitars. Cheers!

Case pictured comes with the guitar ! a nice one! missing a latch = though works fine !

Guitar will come with fresh strings and perfect intonation/new setup playing racer-friendly-fast with 009s.....and shipped professionally packed in its case (which is missing a latch) inside a proper shipping carton
