The jar is in excellent condition (no chips, cracks or H/L), in the original non-graphic goebel box. The jar is approximately 9-1/2” tall and 7” in diameter.The bottom of the jar is marked with the following information:

GermanyThe bottom of the jar is also incised with the mold number K29 and 1957.
There are also initials, which are probably the initials of the artist that painted the jar.
Less than 430 of these jars were made in 1997 exclusively forus. In 1997 there retail was $465.
It is on page 165 of Fred & Joyce Roerig\'s \"Collectors Encyclopedia of Cookie Jars\"- Book 3 (blue book).
