Description
This wonderful piece has it all! It is a music box, night light, rosary holder, and wonderful statue of the Virgin Mary. The box is brushed metal that looks similar to the powder boxes of about the same age. It is vintage, dating the 1940\'s, and marked Hartland on the bottom of the Virgin. The metal box has an enameled top, and the little drawer that pulls out is enameled, as well, a lovely cream color. The Mary statue has a filigree edge that has some gold accents where it sets into the metal base on the top of the box. There is a music box that has a key wind on the back that works great. The tune is a very familiar one, I just can remember the name! (I love being retired. Getting old? Not so much!). The piece even has it\'s original 3 watt bulb that fits inside the Mary with metal clips that have darkened and slightly rusted. The piece is large, standing about 11 1/2" tall overall and 8 1/2" tall for the statue. The piece is really amazing, and won\'t disappoint. I have other fun religious pieces, so take a look!
