This is a gorgeous pair of vintage French curtains from around the 1950s.
I had to bring them home to list as they remind me of Monet`s garden with an array of country cottage flowers and blooms.
They are so detailed and made to look like a painting with brush strokes.They are very well made and fully lined so I cannot get at the selvedge edges to see any name but I guess they are Romanex or Boussac. I have tried shining a strong light through to try and see any wording but cannot get anything!!
The textile is a heavyweight cotton that hangs and falls beautifully and with the curtains also being lined they are very substantial and not flimsy in any way.
They are a stunning display of colours and this printed textile and the design is so beautiful with everything from roses blooms to Cornflowers to Lupins and Delphiniums. If only my garden borders looked like this!!
The textile is in superb condition and the linings are all good and strong.
The top edges still have their curtain tape attached so they are ready to hang.

Measurements of EACH curtain:
Width 3 feet 10\"
Length 8 feet.
There is a good 11\" hem on the bottom of each curtain and the colours still match the front so could be used if needed.
