You are purchasing a beautiful antique sterling silver cup or mug in the Japanese pattern by Gorham. You can see the hallmarks in the pictures and it has a block E date mark for 1872. It is in excellent condition and the banded pattern detail is sharp with a bird, mountain, pagoda and bamboo type design with a pebble matte finish in the background. The interior of the cup has a gold wash and there is a monogram on the body which says: Harrison Sudam Reynolds. The cup is in excellent condition with no damage or repairs and the detail in the patterns is sharp. It measures 4 1//4\" tall by 4\" wide including the handle and just under 3\" without the handle and weights 250 grams or just over 8 troy ounces.
