Description:

This is a reallynice looking Victorian Art Nouveau silver tankard as you can see.

It has been assayed in London during 1891 by John Aldwinckle & Thomas Slater.

Thetankard has a gilt interior and it stands 3\" tall approximately with a 2.5\" top rim diameter.

On my electronicscalesit weighs 4.65 imperial ounces (131.7g). This equates to about 4.22 troy ounces.

Agood gauge of silver, the jughas typical and very minorage relatedlight / faint surface scratching and scuffing commensurate with age and use. There are no nasty or serious dents or dings around the bodywork to report as far as I can tell. The inner gilding is a little bit faded as you might expect, but it is still very obvious.

Thetankard stands firm when placed on a flat surface and it is watertight.
