GREAT VINTAGE GRISWOLD #8 740 G CAST IRON SKILLET \"ERIE\"CLEAN & \"SEASONED\"
On the bottom is the Griswold, Erie PA block letter logo. These are considered rare and highly desirable collectibles. The pourer to pourer (side to side) spouts are 11\". The pan itself is 10 1/2 \" across and 2\" deep.Note the antique handle which is wide and sturdy.( I haven\'t used it, but can promise you that this pan will make wonderful fried chicken or sizziling steaks !! )
There are no chips, cracks, holes or repairs and the pan is not warped. It sits flat. Plus, the skillet has it\'s original patina and has not been professionally restored or \'overcleaned\' or polished. This is a highly collectible and useful piece of kitchenware which you will have for many years and pass on to your heirs.Griswold is famous for it\'s high quality.Just a Note: Cast iron skillets are renowned for their health-giving cooking benefits.
