This stunning chainmail fishnet style headdress is hand made using 18 gauge 1/4 inch diameter jewelry-grade stainless steel rings with 9 feet of silver plated chain, sterling silver, metal and glass beads, and genuine hematite beads. Looks equally good on all hair lengths. These photos don\'t do this piece justice... it really sparkles and has a soft luster that the camera can\'t capture!

I use saw-cut rings, which are best for applications where you want to be very particular about the finished appearance of each ring, such as with fine jewelry. A saw cut ring is made by an industrial machine that cuts a coil with a rotary saw blade. Every saw cut ring I use is deburred, polished and cleaned. Each item is unique and individually hand-crafted.

Stainless steel doesn\'t rust and is strong and clean. The shine level of the rings can vary; it\'s lustre can be compared to that of a stainless steel kitchen sink.
