American sterling silver long handledtea or punch strainer made by Currierand Roby for Gebelein Silversmiths,c.1925. This handsome Classic Revival stylestrainer has a chased foliate handlewith a wreath and bow finial. This striking and useful hand madestrainer is 9 1/4\" long, has a bowl 31/2\" in diameter, weighing 59 grams or1.9 ozs. Troy. The soft, warm, original finish ispresent, with no buffing or machinepolishing. The excellent original condition andclear, crisp detail, with no monograms,removals, repairs or alterations, makethis an especially attractive offering [r1974]
