Henry Harley \'\'Hap\'\' Arnold [1886 1950]was an American general officer holding the grades of General of the Army and General of the Air Force. He was an aviation pioneer who was taught to fly by the Wright Brothers and was one of the earliest military pilots worldwide and one of the first three rated pilots in the history of the United States Air Service. Arnold began his military career in 1907, and was a veteran of World War I. In 1938, he was appointed as Chief of the Air Corps and developed the U.S aviation section of the military from a small group of 20,000 into the largest and most powerful air force in the world. General Arnold also became the only Air Force general to hold a five-star rank and the only officer to hold a five-star rank in two different U.S military services. The autographis signed \'\'H.H Arnold\'\' in black fountainpen and the album page measures 3.00 x4.75 inches.
