ORIGINAL WHITE STAR LINE SILVER CREAM JUG

This VERY RARE silver plated Cream Jug was made by Elkington & Co, Birmingham for the White Star Line and is beautifully chased (engraved) with an intricate \'Oak Leaf\' style pattern.
The jugis approx. 5.5\" tall, 4.5\" across the handle to the spout and 3.25\" diameter across the base, which is hallmarked with the Elkington name, logo and date letter \'P\' for 1901, so undoubtedly, this was a pattern chosen for the first of the \'Big Four\', RMS CELTIC which entered service on 26th July 1901.
Condition is excellent and very clean andthis is a genuineopportunity to acquire asuperb artefactwhichWILL continue toappreciate in value.
