I acquired this parachute in an abandoned storage unit I purchased at sale. I don\'t know the specific history on this one but it was definitely used . This smokejumper parachute bears the scars of many a jump and certainly has many stories to tell. It is very clean and mildew free. As you can see from the last pic, this one is dated 1981 and is #431. It is being sold for historical and collectible purposes only and should not be used to skydive. Would make a great shade canopy.
