Offered for sale is a beautiful Georg Jensen Danish sterling silver salt with a cobalt blue enameled interior and spoon in the \"Acorn\" pattern. These pieces bear some interesting marks. The salt is marked with designer Johan Rohdes (1856-1935) \"JR\" in a beaded circle under \"Dessin\". It also bears the Jensen mark used from 1925-1932 and the purity mark used from 1915-1930. The spoon is marked with the Jensen silver mark used from 1910-1925, but it also bears the English marks for London silver maker and importer George Stockwell, and London date mark for 1925, so it appears that this salt and spoon are circa 1925.
The salt is 2-5/8\" wide including the handle with a 1-5/8\" in diameter bowl and stands 1/2\" high. The spoon is 3-1/4\" long and both pieces are in excellent condition.
