A vintage, Georg Jensen, sterling silver letter opener in the Scroll aka Saga pattern, marked on blade. The letter opener, 8 7/8\" long, is in good condition with roughness on tip probably caused from beingdropped at some time...typicalsurface scratching that could be buffed out.The pattern was developed by Johan Rohde in 1927 for Georg Jensen. I have not seen another example on line or on the net, which leads me to think that this example is very hard to find. I\'m assuming that this is the earlier version as I did see one that was later that had a stainless blade and was shorter...this opener is signed on the blade with the oval Georg Jensen mark,sterling and Denmark (all sterling).
