Offered for sale by Caspar’s Place is a solid sterling silver Georg Jensen bud vase in Harald Nielsen’s orchid design #757. The bud vase is not weighted.

This distinctive Jensen bud vase is marked as follows, thinking of the marks as a compass with “Georg Jensen” in the middle surrounded by dots. At North is “DESSIN HN” in a circle of dots – this indicates the piece was designed by one of Jensen’s foremost designers, Harald Nielsen (1892-1977). East is “STERLING”; South is “757”; and West is “DENMARK.”

The bud vase is not monogrammed. It is in good estate condition, although with the patina of fine scratches to be expected with age and use. The vase’s price reflects its condition. This striking bud vase will make a notable addition to any silver collection.

The bud vase weighs approximately 6.06 troy ounces and is roughly 9” tall.
