George II 1753 Feather Edge Silver Bottom Marked Spoon 59g Ebenezer Coker T:
$52.22
On offer today is asplendid English good gauge tablespoon in Feather Edge pattern. Hallmarks are quite good and maker\'s mark is clear and for Ebenezer Coker. Dates to 1753-year letter s. It is 7.875 inches in length and weighs 59 grams (1.90 troy ounces). This piece is engraved T to the front and always has been, definitely no erasures either.
The condition is actually quite good.
Stem is thick and strong.
A nice piece of mid George II silver.
There is a blemish to both sides at the top (refer to image),i am not sure why this is.It resembles a gold spot. Much too nice a spoon to scrap though.
Please excuse any reflection in the images, this sometimes happens when using a camera tent outside in daylight.
Would be ideal for the collectors to enhance their collection.
Also ideal as a very special present.
Would doubtless cost an awful lot of money in a good retail outlet today..
