very rare antique Colonial (George III) Era Repose pair silver case verge fusee pocket watch&chain with enamel fob by the famous master Thomas Macham, London - c1777(according to the hallmark).
Amazing hand hammered silver repose outer case. The watch comes with the original matching silver chain ,with hand painted enamelled fob.
The watch is 49mm in diameter,25mm thick.
Absolutely outstanding gild deep verge fusee movement,all hand engraved and pierced and highly decorated,signed by the master! Solid silver balance cock,highly ornamented,decorated with ruby endstone! Silver scale with steel hand forged regulator hand! This watch is over 240 years old,but preserved in a perfect working order!!!
