Made by THOMAS WHIPPHAM & CHARLES WRIGHT, LONDON (worked from 1757)

A good antique sterling silver tankard of plain baluster form with a domed lid and strap work to the handle. Uninscribed. Owners initials to the top of the handle.

Contains 850 ml.

Weight 614 grams, 19.7 troy ounces.

Height 19.5 cms.

Spread 16 cms.

London 1758.

Maker Thomas Whipham and Charles Wright.

Condition: A good quality antique silver tankard in original condition with no damage or restoration. Clear silver hallmarks to inside lid and base. Good size and weight. Good patina. Handle unmarked. A couple of dents to the handle. Please note that this item is not new and will show moderate signs of wear commensurate with age. Reflections in the photograph may detract from the true representation of this item.
