A very nice George II sterling silver cream jug, hall marked for 1744.

Of baluster form with fluted edge and wideindented pouring spout.

Standing 0n trifid feet with hipped knees.

Beautiful double scrolled handle with acanthus decorated thumb rest.

The jug bears the Londonhall mark, lion passant, makers mark in script- TR. and I date mark of 1744.

Measuring 3.75 inches tall.

Weighing 4.6oz.

In excellent condition. A minor ding on the base. Hard to see. Really nothing at all.
