This is a rare vintage side table with cherry plywood top with molded edges and chrome plated steel base designed by George Nelson and manufactured by Herman Miller.George Nelson ranks among the most important and influential personalities in American design. as an architect, an exhibition designer, furniture and clock designer as well as creative director for Herman Miller. He was a highly influential figure in design and architectural discourse for decades. This adjustable tray table is very versatile and works great as minimal nightstand or a small side table next to a sofa. The Tray Table is distinguished by its simple elegance and refined structural elements. Thanks to the easily adjustable height and asymmetric design, this small occasional table can be placed directly next to an armchair, a sofa or even a bed.
