Description

An early 20th Century solid silver shallow sweetmeat pedestal stemmed dish or tazza. It has a Hallmark for 1912 (London) which makes it George V. The makers mark is a cursive E & C for Elkington & Co and this is shown in the images for you. The dish is of trophy shape with a shallow bowl having eight petal style flats. The handles are of sinuous form and reflect the fading Art Nouveau style of the period. The stem has a central knop and the foot has further petal type detail.A nice and practical item, great for displaying fancies and treats.Stock Code: 7784 AG12-1

Condition Report

Minor wear and light scratches to interior as expected. A few minor indents to bowl base through normal use. Overall in good order for period and ready for display.
