George V Solid Silver Footed Dish Fruit Bowl by Barker Brothers Birmingham 1927:

This is a very stylish footed fruit bowl, table centre piece or comport with great quality scalloped rim decoration.
Made in solid sterling silver, as can be seen with the Birmingham assay office hallmark for 1927 and the makers mark BBS Ltd which is for silversmith Barker Brothers.
The top of the bowl is 21 cms wide in diameter and stands at 18.5 cms in height. It has a nice weight and is in overall great condition for the age, no damage and polishes to a very nice shine as you can see. There are some light swirl marks but do remember this is an antique piece so do not expect it to look new.
This would make a lovely quality and unusual gift for someone, which can still be admired and enjoyed today.
