1 of a number of antique enamel / snuff / Staffordshire / Bilston boxes I am currently selling, all original and interesting, some are in better condition than others, please see all the photo\'s for condition as well as reading the full description of the item.

Here is a really nice SHAPED oval patch box of the Georgian era...the main ground is blue which as you can see from my photos is a crimped edge sort of shape ...it has a tiny area at the front of re-colouring ..a touch up job on the blue... its had an impact here at some time ...on the base and lid.
It has been quite well covered up though as you cannot really see it unless you look close.
The hinge frame is a base metal and in good order.. the top is a cream main ground with a blue outer edge with a blue diamond shape centre with flowers around with a BIRD at the very top...looks like a Dove or similar.
On top of the blue edge it has then got little fine white dots of enamel and an inner gold line.
This top is cracked and chipped and a small bit of re-colouring to the very front edge.
Inside it is white and in good order with a cracked mirror under the lid.
The box is 1 and 3/4inch long x 1 and half inch wide at the widest point the actual box is 1 and a quarter inch wide x 1 inch tall.

If you return the item because you\'ve changed your mind, and there is no error in the description, return postage will not be refunded.
