This is for a lovely ladies sewing etui box in shagreen with its original silver appliques. On one side it reads \'D\'Amitie\' which translates to \'Friendship\' and on the other is \'Souvenir\'\'. There is a pierced silver appliqué with a cherub angel on one side and on the other a basket of flowers. It has a button that releases the lid and inside it is made to hold various vanity and sewing tools. It has a 2\" long rule come aide memoire, scissors with silver handles, tweezers, cuticle and nair cleaning tool, bodkin and two other mystery tools. The tweezers, cuticle tool and both mystery tools allhave the French silver boars head mark along with the samemakers mark that is stamped on the silver name plaques on the front.The box has a very old price or collection label still attached to the base. The boxis in excellentcondition with noloss of shagreen and no damage to the silver appliques. The tools inside are also in excellent condition with no damage just the wear you see.The box measures50mm (2\") across and stands78mm (3\") tall.
