With a Really Nice Original Liner!

There are Letters & Numbers on the inside Left Ear Area, next to one of the chinstrap holders: Q (Quist) 66

Original Helmet from WW1 - M-16 - Issued starting in 1916- These were also used around the beginning of WW2.

Measures approx. 8.0\" front to back - and about 6.25\" side to side inside the liner

AwesomeLooking, very solid, but may have a little dirt on interior as you might expect

These helmets are disappearing into collections and should probably be left as original as possible.

Steel Helmet Great condition for age!

No Holes, No Big Dents, No Serious Rust

Leather liner Is Still in Decent Shape

All split pins included, however the back pin is a field replacement that has been riveted in to secure the liner!

There is no Chinstrap

One Chinstrap Bale hook is Present as seen

Two of the Original Liner pads have their Horsehair pillows intact

The third has been lost to time

Q66 Stamping is reasonably bold inside helmet

Paint & Pattern still bold - Not official colors, but OLD PAINT

Pin Heads have the corresponding color, so the liner hasn\'t been removed for a Very Long time!

One liner Pad is torn about 1/2 way across as seen in photos

Inside helmet is a dark gray or black

Very Solid Helmet!

The only thing we have done was have the leather professionally & gently treated to help preserve it.

Just the Liner Itself is Well Worth a few Hundred Dollars!
