This sale is for one randomly selected 10 to 20 gram German Lab Grown BISMUTH Crystal Display Specimen.

Each Bismuth specimen ranges in size from about 0.75\" to 1.25\" across each and is guaranteed to weigh between 10 to 20 grams, but they usually weigh more! The Bismuth Crystals in the photos are from the same lot that yours will be randomly selected from. EachBISMUTH crystal is unique and has a super neat geometric square pattern in a stair step arrangement! It has mesmerising, bright iridescent metallic colours which are caused by light scattering at a very thin layer of bismuth oxide. Bismuth is a fairly rare metallic element. This is a man made crystal grown in a lab at about 271 degrees centigrade or 520 degrees Fahrenheit. It can only be grown from electronic grade highly refined bismuth! These beautiful Bismuth Crystalsare highly sought after by jewelers, hobbyists, gemologists, Reiki healers and others!

ABOUT BISMUTH:

Bismuth is a naturally occurring element that is commonly found and sold as a gray metallic ore. It has many industrial uses and is also holistically beneficial, for it is the active ingredient in the upset stomach medicine \"Pepto-Bismol\", 57% by weight. Bismuth has a pretty low melting point between 500 and 600 degrees Fahrenheit, and is fun and easy for many jewelry applications. If liquefied and cooled very slowly these magnificent \"hopper\" crystals grow with a natural geometric form. Soon after they instantly oxidize with the oxygen in the air and patina a beautiful rainbow color. No two crystals are ever the same. These particular crystals were professionally lab grown in Germany. I\'m working on growing my own batch of Bismuth Crystals and Bismuth jewelry.
