First Model Luftwaffe Dagger ~ Aluminum Fittings version. This is a super nice quality collectible, full size dagger measuring 18 inches from pommel top to blade tip. I\'ve been buying and selling for over 30 years and this is by far the nicest, cleanest, most beautiful example I\'ve ever come across of this model. The blade has aged in excellent condition having just one small pitted spot seen at about an inch and half location from the tip near the edge, on the second photo. The aluminum fittings on the scabbard have been polished, this is just the way I found it. Looks like the scabbard leather may have been professionally replaced at some point still in remarkable condition. Dagger does show its age on the crossguard, luckily that was not cleaned. Complete with original knot as shown. Looks like it was originally purchased by the officer then never worn. See photos for condition and judge for yourself.
