Extremely rare pre-war, (late 1930\'s~early 1940\'s), Gibson EH-185 amplifier project chassis only, labelled on front panel as an EH-150 as the first batch of EH-185 amps were documented to have been.It has been in long-term storage and has not been operated or worked-on for decades.
Though no vacuum tubes are included with this amp, it is a 7-tube circuit and the sockets indicate that the rectifier tube was a 5U4 type, and the two power tubes were 6L6 types.
There were several versions of this circuit issued, and many variations of tubes and components were known to have been used, but the remaining 4 sockets have no visible tube-type designations.
This chassis measures 15.5\" wide, 7\" deep, and 7.5\" high to the top of the arched handles, andweighs 20 pounds unboxed.
