This is arare gigantic hand painted solidchalk ware religious Virgin Mary icon statue.I have been selling antique religious artifacts for many years and have yet to see achalk wareMary thick largeit measures 29 3/4inches tall by 8incheswide.made early 1900\'s.It is completely painted by hand with nice detailing and rich color.it has a matte finish, has a nice aged look, and is a very heavy piece.it is overall in very niceantique condition.there is just a chip to the back corner of the base as shown in lastphoto.otherwise in great shape.

Insurance will be put on all items that cost over $40 before shipping cost. But insurance can be added to items under $40 with request from buyer.
buyer is responsible to file insurance claims via USPS, if package arrives broken or damaged, due to USPS\'s new policies the broken or damaged package has to be present when filing claims.
