Gio Ponti or Gio Ponti Style plate bowl alzata Italian Art Deco 1920s 1930s:

This is a wonderful glass plate with silver overlay decoration, almost certainly made on a design by Gio Ponti and almost certainly in Murano, Venice, where Ponti collaborated with glassmakers.
If you are familar with Ponti's designs, particularly his ceramic vases or plates, you will see that the decoration on this glass bowl or plate resembles them very closely.
The last two pictures are examples of Ponti's ceramics to show the similarities with the item on sale (for the avoidance of doubt, the items pictured in the last two photographs are not for sale in this sale).
The plate or bowl is 26 cm wide and in excellent condition, with very minimal pitting/superficial scratches to the silver overlay, commensurate with age. Please study the pictures - they haven't been enhanced in any way.
