Glass in perfect condition. Front show President Garfield, his mother, and his homestead. Grange Twp. Ohio. And lawnfield, the Garfield home in Mentor Ohio. The image has some burnishing/darkening to the edges. It does not detract from the photos. Overall and excellent, and very old piece ideal for a collector.
