This ring is beautiful for about 5 minutes. Then, because it is NOT solid sterling silver, the polish rubs of within a few days and it\'s ugly and dull. It shows whatever type of cheap metal is under the VERY thin silver finish. I even specifically asked overstock.com if the ring was solid sterling silver and they told me it was--you can see my question and their answer in the Q&A section. So I ordered 3 more as gifts. It\'s too late to cancel the orders, unfortunately, because these rings are cheaper than the kind you buy for a ****** at a carnival. What a shame and what utterly misleading advertising. I\'ve bought over 40 jewelry items from Overstock and have never been so mislead or disappointed.

That really just irritates me that someone would knowingly package a ring with a missing stone. It\'s just shady business to me. This is now the 3rd thing this week I got from overstock that I had an issue with. Granted I have had some great success shopping with overstock, this just was not one of those. I am aware that they magnify their photos but what sucks is you never know what size you are going to get. This was not advertised properly. It nowhere near the size in the description. It\'s said it was 5 and something carat weight. So I was expecting a nice size ring to wear out occasionally. But it\'s so tiny. I wouldn\'t even use the word dainty on this ring. I think halo cushion cut rings need to be a decent size or they come off looking super cheap. And this ring just was a disaster. I was not happy with this purchase. I\'m starting to second guess some of my future wishlist purchases because it seems some of this jewelry is being advertised for one thing but not true to what it is. Overstock is very good about returns but it takes forever to get your money credited back to your credit card. That\'s super annoying. I was reeeally looking forward to this ring. And sadly I am returning it and getting my money back.
