The spine states that this is Volumes 44 and 45, but this is actually volumes 64 and 65 of Godey\'s Lady\'s Book, bound into one book. The volume numbers stated on the spine are in error. Published 1862. Big thick book. Full of hand colored illustrations of fashions of the period. The binding is not in great shape. The spine is separated and the front and back boards are very loose. But the interior is in good shape. I have a great bookbinder I can refer you to if you would like to have it repaired. But this is also a suitable copy for removing illustrations for framing.
