I believe this is thesmallest Goebel Friar Tuck Figurine made.He stands approximately 21/4\" tall. This little Tuck is a Pipe Stubber or Tamper, intended tobe used to tamp Tobacco into a smoking pipe. I find no evidence that itwas ever used for this purpose - no blackening, burning, or residue.It is marked with the Bee Symbol and Western Germany on its bottom. It appears to be in near perfect condition with just a small hole on the bottom which I would guess is a normal molding blowout. It can not be seen when standing and is too small for my camera to capture.Please consult the pictures carefully. I believe it is a scarce item - one thatshould be part of the avid Goebel Friar Tuck collector\'s special pieces.
