·Jimps - Top and Bottom of the tang

·Scales (Handles) - Plastic / Bone white wood pattern with \"No.44\" insignia inlaid

·Text on Tang - \"44\" / FORTY FOUR MADE IN GERMANY

Additional Notes - Absolutely one of the most beautiful and largest Gevoso\'s thatI\'ve come across. The etching and goldwash is crisp and vibrant. The scales haveits original clear coat and the metal insignia is intact and complete. The blade has a mirror-like polish with onlya few blemishes. When opened, the bladeis extremely tight in its scales and closes perfectly centered. Just shy of being a true 8/8\'s razor, it isstill larger than 15/16\'s of an inch. Quitea different beast from the more common 5/8\'s and 6/8\'s razors.
