Book of Mormon Gold Plates3/8 scaled model. What I have for sale here is a scaled representation of what the gold plates might have looked like. Theplates are mounted on a wooden base which is approximately 4\" x 6\". The binding rings on the plates are of solid brass. The top plate on either side of the gold plates are brass with silk screened characters. The characters are copies of the actual characters as copied by Joseph Smith from the gold plates. The plates are fixed and do not turn. The gold material that the two top plates rest upon are a gold painted material that are made to look like a stack of plates. These make an excellent conversation and/or missionary tool. Shipping is by priority mail. Tennessee residents will have to pay sales tax.
