For your consideration is a gold nugget metal detector poker chip target. Real gold nugget, weighs about .275 grams. The nugget is about 1/4\" long and 3/16\" wide at the widest spot. On a $100.00 poker chip. The poker chip is about 1 1/2\" wide.

To use, you just toss the poker chip on the ground or dig a hole and bury the poker chip. Then you adjust your detector till you can easily detect the piece of gold. The easiest way if when the poker chip is laying flat, this way your metal detector sees it easier. But most of the times, gold is not laying flat. So for better practice, you can bury the chip at different agles in the ground. Or put in a pile of tailings and practice.
