Good PERSIAN SOLID SILVER TEA AND COFFEE SET. FINE ENGRAVED DETAIL. SIGNED c1920:

Up for sale is a very pretty PERSIAN/ISLAMIC SOLID SILVER TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE, SIGNED by the maker c.1920.

The 4 piece service comprises of COFFEE POT, TEAPOT, COVERED SUGAR BOWL and CREAMER. Each piece is well engraved throughout (see pics). There are also separate panels of BIRDS and FLOWERS. The handles and finials have large inset pieces of MOTHER OF PEARL.

Each piece is clearly SIGNED to the underside with 84 and FARSI SCRIPT. I would date this lovely set to c.1920.

The coffee pot standsover 7.25 inches high and the teapot standsover 6.25 inches high.This is a good quality set weighing a solid 63 troy ounces (1,959 GRAMS).

CONDITION: EXCELLENT, no issues whatsoever! The service needs a good hand polish.
