Very early Royal Standard #1 flatbed typewriter. This example of the Royal Standard has serial #4487, and the \"R\" initial on the sides instead of the \"Royal\" logo. There are also no \"1\"s on the front of typewriter, designating it as early, as well.
In gorgeous working condition. There are a 3-4 sticky keys, otherwise typewriter operates perfectly (including bell and carriage return). The black enamel and stenciling are extremely nice, with just some very light wear on the corners, and light fading to the stenciling here and there. Overall, excellent condition for its age.
A beautiful example of an early model.
