Superb Antique Frenchmajolica Jardiniere signed by Gustave deBruyn.

Thismarvelous jardiniere was made around the early 1870s in the north of France atFives-Lilles.

Gustave de Bruynsettled his pottery factory in 1864 in Fives.

As a very giftedcreator, he was naturally awarded a medal at the \"Exposition Universellede Paris\" in 1889.

The quality of hisproducts was very high.

This Jardinierepresented here is a perfect example of the works of de Bruyn

The details ofthe decor are very interesting. The colors are very nice, intense.

This piece isvery shiny, and the pictures shows some white marks, it\'s due to the reflectionof the light!

There are acouple of smallold repairs (I have tried to show them in the pictures) asyou can see, they are hardly noticeable.

The piece issigned and numbered 4287.

The Jardiniere orplanter measures almost 12\" or 30cm wide by 5 3/4\" or 15 cm tall.
