Thiswonderfulantique silkwinder iscarved of mother of pearl in a scooped rectangular shape with scrollingpierced corners. Flowers go out into each corner and both sidesare beautifully hand engraved.

It has arepair at one corner, but it\'s solid & sturdy and the overallcondition is very nice. Thepearl is very luminous and itmeasures 3\" by 1 5/8\". Awinder in this same patternisshown on p. 100 ofAntique Needlework Tools andEmbroideries by Nerylla Taunton.
