Vintage Koret handbag made for  the Flah Co store of  Syracuse - Dewitt, New York. The maker of the handbag refers to it as Koretolope, which is made from non crockable kid suede leather. This bag has a heavy gold chain and a gold frame around the top of the purse. There is a gold catch on top with a black stone. The inside of the purse is pristine with black satin and touches of beige showing inside the pockets. This bag also has a black satin change purse, and a mirror in a black satin case. The  Koret Company was founded in 1929, in New York City, by Richard Koret. It was considered the most prestigious handbag company in the U. S. Mr. Koret was killed in a plane crash in1965 and the company was sold. It later closed in the 1990s. Koret was sold and relaunched in 2012. This is a beautiful vintage bag in very good condition. The measurements of the bag are 10 1/4 in long, and 8 in high. The handle has a 7 in strap drop. This bag weighs 2 lbs.
