Up for sale, we have a gorgeous one day hunter style Black Forest Germancuckoo clock. This clock is a beautiful example of wood working craftsmanship. With all the elaborate carving, including the crown with it\'s leaves, stag head, and crossed rifles, and the frame with it\'s hare and raven, hunter\'s pouch and horn, oak leaves and acorns;this is a work of art.Even the cuckoo bird is made of wood. The cuckoo calls the hour and half houron a one day Regula movement. There is a night switch underneath so that you can silence the cuckoo and music at night if you choose to do so.
We oiled the movement, waxed the case, cleaned the chains, and adjusted the gong.We\'ve tested it in our home for a week and it runs perfectly, cuckoos, and keeps excellent time. The clock is complete with chains, two pine cone weights, and a pendulum. It looks beautiful, and works great. The dimensions are 13\" X 8\" X 8\" including the stag\'s antlers.
It would make a wonderful addition to any cuckoo clock collection.
