This is the most beautiful frame we have put up for sale yet!!! Showing a large size frame with a great color combination. The outer area is a real pretty creamy color with just sweet little daisies and terrific scroll work, with an inner gold fillet. All this is stacked on a spectacular artistic iridescent basket-weave pattern with 4 gorgeous corner designs!! This oval opening is very generous in size for the art....measuring approx 15 3/4\" x 19 3/4\". (This is the dimension on the back of the frame). By viewing the back of the frame pic, you can see that this piece does not require a special oval piece of glass cut, but just a straight piece cut of the same size. The outer dimensions are approx 25 1/4\" x 29 1/4\". There is one spot on the bottom of the frame with a bit of wood missing, but it\'s smaller than a dime. And a small area of gold missing from the inner gold fillet. This inner oval piece is just so pretty....it has a special paint on it, that really shows off the iridescence, and with 150 years +, with expansion and contraction, the join at the corners is somewhat evident.
