Up for sale is a beautiful Rookwood vase. At 11\" in height, it is relatively large in size. The main decorative element is a band of poppies in varying states of bloom across the top. The glaze is a warm brown mat, made extra special with sections of a peppery blue-black drip, most noticeable and attractive in one section of the poppy band. It is model #1710 and dates from 1927. It is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs or the like. A great example of Rookwood commercial ware--you will not be disappointed!

ON SHIPPING AND RETURNS I ship Monday through Friday on the day following payment (and occasionally on the same day). Upon shipping, I will contact you with confirmation and the tracking number. I deal primarily in ceramics and glass and pack things as carefully as possible, using sturdy boxes, bubble wrap, packing peanuts and other good quality materials. All items are insured. In the unlikely event of an item being damaged in shipping, it is the buyer’s responsibility to file the insurance claim. I do my best to ship items as inexpensively as possible. My shipping estimate generally assumes standard shipping to the West Coast from the East Coast. I try to obtain packing materials at no cost, but when I am unable to do so I charge a small amount for these materials. When shipping turns out to be less than estimated, for example because the item shipped closer to where I live, I provide an appropriate partial refund. If I have underestimated the shipping cost, I cover the difference. Lastly, when I am able to shop Priority Mail at or below the estimated cost or upon request of the buyer, I will do so. I accept returns where a reasonable case can be made for doing so, for example when I have missed a major flaw in an item. I do not accept returns for buyer’s remorse.
