This necklace has 3 (three) strands of the most beautiful beads which are graduated (go from small to large). This necklace has a Sterling Silver very ornate Shepherds hook closure (this is not marked but tested to be sterling silver). The beads reflect colors just like a real opal. The beads have green, blue, pink and an orange like hue when they are turned to the light just right. The spacer beads are clear cut crystal and this necklace also has an extender with the same glass beads. THIS NECKLACE NEEDS CLEANING AND THE BEADS ARE STRUNG ON WIRE WHICH WILL NOT LET IT LAY FLAT, IT DOES LAY FLAT IF YOU ARE WEARING IT BUT IT WANTS TO CURL SOME when NOT being WORN. This necklace is very heavy weighing a total of 171.7 grams. The length of this necklace is approx. 15 3/4 inches and approx. 19 inches on the longest strand. The extender is approx. 3 inches and the beads are not round but are three sided (like a triangle with smooth rounded sides). All beads are in excellent condition, with the exception of needing cleaned, and some have tiny air bubbles inside from when it was made. This is a very RARE find and so much prettier in person than in ANY of my photos. This necklace would be great to have and wear with anything or maybe just to add to a collection!
